We run General filters on all three of our fuel oil furnaces. You can run a canister filter in addition to the General but we always run a General first before a canister.
Easy to install. Standard size.
Perfect replacement for one that somehow disappeared when Moms furnace was changed several years ago. Will keep the sludge out of the pump and nozzle. Good price though I see it's been marked down as I write this, grrr. At my door two days after order!
