I replaced a SV9500M that eas 20 years old and needed a tap to get the main burner to come on do to solenoid spring contacts not pushing on the solenoid tabs hard enough to pick it when it should. I installed the new SV9501M and no more problems

When you have a family in the middle of winter and your furnace fails, you don't have time to mess around. My furnace needed a new gas valve that the repairman said couldn't be found. Replaced the older model valve easily. This one has been redesigned to prevent the failure of solder joints on the circuit board that plagued the original model. It took a week to get here but arrived in good condition. I would order this again.
