This drain was definitely a time saver as I did not have to cut the concrete slab floor. Was able to use this drain and not have to cut floor. Excellent!

This drain was the only way to fit a preformed pan on a second floor slab. It still required slab cutting for fitting but the low profile angle was just what I needed. Why isn’t this item more widely available? The part arrived exactly as promised and the cost to ship was just factored into the bill.
Hard to get and great delivery time.
The whole unit can fit inside 3 inches high.
I used it on a Dreamline shower base when the old drain did not line up with the new shower base drain in concrete.
Raised the base 2.5 inches.
Got to me in 3 days.
Renovating an upstairs bath to shower, and after search, found only this, and one other even pricier option to help resolve a clearance issue. I further modified (10 minutes with proper tools and skills) it to accept a standard floor drain at proper height, but at least I did not have to significantly relocate the drain, saving time and other expenses... so perhaps I can view the unit price favorably because of the offset. Quality of the product as received was very good.
