Glad I switched to this type of filter - much easier, cleaner and faster replacement when maintenance times comes around. The older type of filter systems always had globs of gel and sludge left in the housing that had to be cleaned out by hand. Also noticed when servicing other peoples systems, theirs was a cleaner screen at the fuel pump.
I always use this filter after I clean and set up my furnace, and always keep a spare on hand. Good brand have used for many years,
