Worked great to get my furnace up and running again.
Best price for this part with fast shipping that I could find. HVAC technician quoted me $712+tax to replace this board, so I saved myself nearly $500. Install was not hard.
However item description and picture clearly stated and showed the ignitor wiring adapter harness was included (as did parts list in the shipment) but it was not included in my shipment. My XL 80 furnace required this adapter, but when I called Keiths, while they were friendly and informative, they did nothing to get me the wiring adapter, and just suggested I adapt it myself with wiring caps. So meh, three stars.
Our responseWe appreciate your comments, Peter and apologize for the wiring harness being missing from the kit. Unfortunately the wiring adapter is not readily available separately. We thought it best to tell you how to use the kit without the adapter rather than having you wait without heat until another kit could be sent. We strive to maintain good products for our customers and will continue to monitor our inventory to provide quality parts.
Removed original CB from XL 80 model Trane and installed the Trane KIT 15943 control board kit. My heater now works better than it ever has.
They did great. Delivered as promised.

This worked great in my Trane XL80. The installation was straight forward. Saved me $550 from what the service company wanted to charge for it!
The part was easy to swap out less than 10 min and it came with the ignitor which I did not need but may later. And it also came with a replacement diagram so if someone else has to work on it they will know the upgrade as been made. The only part I had a little trouble with is the neutral wires were not labeled like the original mother board. But after a moment I hesitation all went well!
