GFCI receptacle

definitions:

rainproof- constructed, protected, or treated so as to prevent rain from interfering with the successful operation of the apparatus under specified test conditions.

raintight- constructed or protected so that exposure to beating rain does not result in the entrance of water under specified test conditions.

watertight- constructed so that moisture does not enter the enclosure under specified test conditions.

weatherproof- constructed or protected so that exposure to the weather does not interfere with normal operation.

wet location- underground or in concrete or masonary slab in direct contact with the earth; in locations subject to saturation with water or other liquids such as in vehicle washing areas; and in unprotected locations exposed to weather.
