CPVC - Pipe and Fittings
CPVC tubing is ideal for water supply lines. It's easy to cut and assemble, using compression or cemented fittings. It's durable too. Harsh water won't harm the material, unlike copper, which will deteriorate in acidic water. CPVC is CTS, copper tube size, plastic for hot and cold water. CPVC is NSF us-pw approved for potable (drinking) water and meets ASTM D2846 and CSA B137.6 certifications. CPVC is pressure rated 100psi at 180F.
