I was replacing the blower in 15 year old Armstrong, that used a Windjammer fan. I was "nervous" to buy a fan that "fit" so many different applications...I knew it would not be a drop in.
Dimensionally this fit right in and the furnace functions as it should...but it took some extra work to make it a clean installation. In my scenario 1) I had to splice on my old electrical connector. 2) I also had to make a new pipe to replace the original condensation catch that was part of the furnace - just 2" PVC, a couple 45's and you are done. 3) The connection on the condensation drain was a different size than the one I took out so that needed a simple plastic barb adapter I got at Menards.
The condensation drain/coupling works way better than the original Armstrong design.
Good luck on your install - hope this helps
I needed to buy a new draft inducer for my furnace and was having difficulty finding the correct part. Keithspecialty.com had a great description which described exactly what was needed. Best price on the internet too! I will definitely buy from Keithspecialty again.
