It turns out I did not need these parts, but I am glad they were suggested and came along when I got the motor. The old used ones were fine (but I did not know that), so now I have a spare kit if I need it.
Whenever we need to replace a pump or motor on a Beckett burner, we usually replace the coupling also. It's easy and quick to do and may save some trouble in the future.
Got to have a few extra of these around in the winter, they are the weakest link in the Furnace.
